This 3xD solid carbide drill is specially developed for stainless steel machining where stability, hole quality, and cutting efficiency are critical. Compared with general-purpose drills, it is optimized for the machining characteristics of stainless steel, helping improve penetration, chip control, wear resistance, and dimensional consistency.
The drill is manufactured from imported MG grade 0.8 μm submicron tungsten carbide rods with 10% cobalt content, providing the strength and toughness required for high-speed cutting. With optimized point geometry, flute design, and coating performance, it is suitable for customers who need stable drilling performance and dependable tool life in stainless steel applications.

Key Features
Made from imported MG grade 0.8 μm tungsten carbide rods with 10% cobalt content, the drill offers strong edge stability, good toughness, and excellent adaptability for high-speed cutting.
The coating is independently developed and benchmarked against Balzers DR coating technology. After passivation post-treatment, coating hardness reaches 2000–4000 HV while the friction coefficient is as low as 0.05–0.15, significantly extending tool life and reducing wear.
Features a 30° helix angle and a 138.9° point angle. The double cutting lip design and secondary cutting edge enhance wear resistance and chip-breaking. Split-point geometry with offset twin cutting edges and angled web-thinning reduces drill walking and enables faster material entry.
Includes a 16° large rake angle, -6° negative chamfer, 30–40% variable core diameter, and 0.8° body back taper. This combination improves cutting sharpness, edge protection, rigidity, chip evacuation, and overall hole quality.
This 3xD carbide drill is suitable for stainless steel hole machining in CNC machining centers and other precision drilling operations. It is widely used in the production of stainless steel components that require stable hole accuracy, good surface finish, and efficient batch machining performance.

Our drills are produced on German Walter 5-axis high-precision grinding machines, ensuring cutting edge sharpness, dimensional accuracy, and smooth cutting performance.
For contour inspection, we use the German Walter Helicheck Plus, allowing profile and radius control within 3 μm to guarantee superior geometric precision.
All products are inspected under 300x magnification to ensure there is no edge chipping or saw-tooth defect on the cutting edge before shipment.
With a 3,000-square-meter production facility, advanced grinding equipment, coating equipment, and inspection instruments, we deliver stable quality at scale.
